Held in King’s Park, Perth on the last Sunday before ANZAC Day, the  BANKWEST GALLIPOLI RUN caters to both runners and walkers alike with three options available – a 10km (6 mile) run, a 5km run or a 5km walk.

Legacy has participated in the BANKWEST GALLIPOLI RUN for the past 6 years and those running for Legacy have included some of the state’s best known and up and coming runners, members of WA running clubs, current and former Legacy children as well as former and serving defence force personnel, reservists, and even a Hockeyroo! The ages of Legacy runners and walkers ranged from 8 to over 80!

Legacy joined the RSL as a beneficiary of event in 2012 and since then has received over $34,000- thanks to event organiser Athletics WA and major sponsor Bankwest.

In 2014 to mark the beginning of centenary commemorations of the first World War, this fantastic family event expanded to Bunbury and Albany.

The 2015 Bunbury BANKWEST GALLIPOLI RUN will be held on Father’s Day, Sunday 6th September- entries will be available closer to the day.
